Meeting with the Director General, Health Services at MoH to submit the copy of the CBHF guidelines and the 8th National CHF conference report
The DG’s office tasked SHU to engage other Community Based Health Financing (CBHF) promoters to generate ideas for developing CBHF guidelines for Uganda. The 8th National CHF conference that was officially opened by the Director General Dr. Olaro Charles attracted diverse representation from CBHF promoters and other stakeholders who thoroughly discussed ideas for CBHF guidelines. Participants of the conference developed a road map to guide the process of approving the CBHF guidelines and it was agreed that after finalizing the documentation of the guidelines, they will later be submitted to the DG and there after sanctioned to relevant departments and committees in Ministry of Health for further discussion and later on approval.
