Executive Director

He is a Health Economist with over 17 years of experience in designing and implementing community health insurance programs in Uganda. He represents Uganda Community Based Health Financing Association on the National Health Insurance Taskforce, which is designing the National Health Insurance Scheme for Uganda.

Mrs. Juliet Nazibanja Kibirige

Programs Manager

She is a development worker with qualifications in social work and project planning and management. She has taken lead in developing and implementing CHI programs, and supporting schemes to build capacity for sustainability.

Ms. Veronica Asio

Finance Manager

She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in finance management and administration.

Mr. Waiswa Kenneth

Promotion and Marketing Officer

He is a social worker with over 10 years’ experience in Community Health Insurance (CHI). He has worked with SHU since 2004 and has been involved in health insurance promotion, capacity building for schemes, health insurance risk monitoring and management, products development, and schemes networks set up and management.

Mr. Robert Kabaale

Projects' Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

He is a development worker with over 10 years of progressive experience in Community Health Insurance (CHI). He has been involved in the development and management of various Community Health Insurance interventions targeting both the rural and urban communities.

Resource Mobilization Officer

He is a Public Health Professional with over 10 years professional experience  in Community Health Financing, Health Education and Health Insurance promotion.
